भारतीय रेलवे ने Parcel Logistics की दुनिया में एक ऐतिहासिक और क्रांतिकारी फैसला लिया है। Railway Board ने नए दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर Dedicated Parcel Trains और Leased Parcel Vans के बीच चयनित Stations पर Trans-Shipment की अनुमति दे दी है। यानी अब एक Parcel Train से सामान उतारकर दूसरी Parcel Train में Load किया जा सकेगा। इससे E-Commerce Companies, छोटे व्यापारी और किसान — सभी को फायदा होगा।

अब तक Indian Railways में एक बड़ी समस्या थी — जहां Direct Parcel Train Connectivity नहीं थी, वहां पार्सल बहुत देर से पहुंचता था। पहले नियम था कि Parcel एक ही Train में Source से Destination तक जाएगा। अगर कोई Direct Train नहीं है तो Parcel वहीं अटका रहता था या बहुत लंबे Route से जाता था।

• ❌ पहले: Parcel Trains के बीच Trans-Shipment की कोई Permission नहीं थी
• ❌ जहां Direct Connectivity नहीं वहां Parcel देरी से पहुंचता था

Railway Parcel Trans-Shipment कैसे काम करेगा?

Jammu Division के Senior Divisional Commercial Manager उचित सिंघल ने बताया कि इस नई व्यवस्था में:

• 📦 Parcel को Source Station से Parcel Train 1 में Load किया जाएगा
• 🚉 Notified Interchange Station पर पहुंचकर Parcel उतारा जाएगा
• 🔄 वहां से Parcel Train 2 में Load होगा जो Destination की तरफ जाएगी
• 📍 Destination Station पर Parcel Deliver होगा — पहले से कहीं तेज!
• 🔒 Trans-Shipment केवल Notified / Identified Stations पर ही होगा
• 📊 पूरी व्यवस्था Systematic और Transparent रहेगी

• 🚆 Dedicated Parcel Trains — केवल Parcel के लिए चलने वाली Special Trains
