Rishikesh–Karanprayag Rail: Escape Tunnel बनेगी Parallel Road! — ₹38,953 Cr, 125 KM, India का सबसे Complex Mountain Railway
उत्तराखंड में एक ऐसा फैसला लिया गया है जो दुनिया के Railway Engineering में एक नई मिसाल कायम करेगा। Rishikesh–Karanprayag Rail Project के तहत बनाए गए Escape Tunnels को अब Parallel Roads में Convert किया जाएगा! CM Pushkar Singh Dhami ने इस फैसले को "Uttarakhand के लिए Decisive Turning Point" बताया है। ₹38,953 Crore के इस Project में 125 KM की Rail Line में 84% हिस्सा Underground है। Escape Tunnels को Road बनाकर Char Dham Yatra करने वाले लाखों यात्रियों को एक साथ Railway और Road दोनों की सुविधा मिलेगी। December 2028 तक पहली Train Karanprayag पहुंचेगी।

Escape Tunnel क्या होती है?
- 🚇 Main Tunnel: जिसमें Train चलती है — 16 Main Tunnels, कुल 105 KM
- 🚶 Escape Tunnel: Main Tunnel के बराबर में बनी Emergency Evacuation Route — 12 Escape Tunnels, कुल 98 KM
- ⚠️ Use: Train Accident, Fire, या Emergency में यात्री इसी Tunnel से बाहर निकलते हैं
- 📏 Size: Escape Tunnels slightly smaller — लेकिन Road/Footpath के लिए पर्याप्त
- 🛠️ Normal उपयोग: Safety के अलावा अब तक बंद पड़ी थीं — Waste of Infrastructure!
